PHOENIX MERCURY ANNOUNCES 2026 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury are officially set for the 2026 season, unveiling their full 44-game WNBA regular-season schedule.

The Mercury tip off the year on the road Saturday, May 9, in a Finals rematch against the Las Vegas Aces. Phoenix returns home for its Fry’s Food Stores Home Opener on Tuesday, May 12, welcoming the Minnesota Lynx to Footprint Center.

Single-game tickets for all home games go on sale Thursday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. MT, with PayPal X-Factor memberships available now. Fans can lock in early access and be part of what’s shaping up to be a big summer of hoops in the Valley.

The 2026 WNBA season runs from May 8 through Sept. 24, with a mid-season pause from Aug. 31 to Sept. 16 for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup. Phoenix opens the year road-heavy, playing nine of its first 14 games away, before closing strong with 17 of its final 30 at home.

A key stretch to circle: a five-game road trip from Aug. 3–11, immediately followed by the team’s longest homestand of the season from Aug. 16–29. The regular season wraps up at home on Thursday, Sept. 24, once again against Las Vegas.

Commissioner’s Cup action tips off June 1 as part of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase. Phoenix will host Minnesota (June 1), the Los Angeles Sparks (June 13), and Las Vegas (June 17), while hitting the road to face the Seattle Storm, Portland Fire, Golden State Valkyries, and Dallas Wings. The top teams from each conference will meet in the Cup Championship on June 30.
